Durba

We Mangal Murti Charitable Trust Plans and programmes have aimed at women's advancement in different spheres. In our society girls are still looked down upon in India, there is a long standing tradition that women serve men and maintain the home and some never venture outside their houses at all. it is still seen in many places that girls are given in marriage as minors. Think of all those helpless girls we have the segment on our Mangal Murti Charitable Trust which is known as “durba”.

Here we will teach free sewing to every woman and provide them with income so they can earn their own living . They needed to learn newer vocational skills such as tailoring (sewing) which can help them earn more income and become economically self-sufficient and independent. This will alleviate poverty, help them support their family needs without being dependent of husband and parents. Today, being able to sew can be an acclaimed vocational skill. Over the past decade or so, embroidery has become an empowering tool for women in India, and a traditional craft. we Mangal Murti Charitable Trust want every girl to earn her own living so that all her dreams can be full field.
